Public Reinforcement:

Testimonials provide a sense of public reinforcement in your product to new visitors establishing a sense of trust and increases the likelihood of visitors exploring your site, learning about your product and doing business with your company. I designed a testimonial section and placed it on the main page of the website because people are told the dangers of visiting and exploring sites that they can't trust so they leave sites quickly if they don't trust or agree with the message or product. By placing the testimonial on that main page this quickly lets the visitor know that they can trust your product because others have.   pencilbacktotopicon

Tailoring the Experience:

Studies have shown that when user are given too many options at once it can overwhelm them and you risk driving people away from the site. I designed a tour filter page that is the first thing you see when you click on Tours. A tailor made list of experience will be given to the visitor of the site when they go through the various filters that are shown and experiences that they don't want are eliminated before they can see it. This streamlines the search experience so visitors aren't aimlessly scrolling pass or clicking through options that they will never choose.   pencilbacktotopicon

A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words:

Tourism sites are meant to sell you on the idea of traveling to a location and a key component to achieve that goal are the pictures. Pictures need to appear large and detailed to capture the user attention and make them want to visit the location. I added multiple large detailed images of various things around Mount Rainier throughout the site to give visitors an idea of what they can see and entice them to do business.   pencilbacktotopicon

The Mount Rainier mountain ranges are one of the highest ranges in Washington. This tourism site concept for Mount Rainier provides information on the mountain itself and also serves as an ecommerce tourism site. A modern design approach with a cool color palette using shades of light blue and white reflects the weather at Mount Rainier and striking pictures greet any user looking for information or help. (All photographs and videos used on the site belong to their respective owner.)   pencilbacktotopicon
